Letter to the Congregation

Dear Friends,

Our Lord is so wonderful to each of us. He gives us the time and effort to create new things for the betterment of our church. In the past months several groups have suggested a better communication system for our congregation.

First United Methodist church is fortunate to have the modern technology and resources needed to create a better means of communication. This will help our congregation move toward using modern technology.

One way to do this is to keep you better informed by using email.  We have collected a list of e-mails from many of our members and friends who wish to keep up with news, meetings and events during the month. If someone is in need of prayer or is in the hospital, we can send that information to you immediately.

As we start this process, we look forward to sending you our news letter via e-mail. However, if you decide not to receive it via e-mail, please contact the office staff.

For those of us who prefer to get a hard copy of the Spire, and those who prefer both (via e-mail, hard copy), we will gladly send you both.

The birthday and anniversary calendars and calendar of events will be available in the narthex the last Sunday of each month. For the month of May we will send you the newsletter as previously sent and you will also get an e-mail copy. However the next month we will send via e-mail. Copies will be available in the Narthex.  If we do not have your email please stop or call the office.
